All houses have their own parking space in front of the house, combined living room/kitchen with fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, guest toilet, bedroom and entrance hall. The houses are tastefully decorated with disabled-friendly details, equipped with access codes and underfloor heating in all rooms.

The terrace is sheltered, allowing you to relax and enjoy nature and tranquillity.

Although the houses are identical, each one offers a unique experience. Original works by some of Denmark's leading artists add atmosphere and colour to each house.

The area and nature

Dronningens Ferieby is surrounded by forest and heathland, and is less than 100 metres from one of Denmark's best beaches. There is a ramp from the bathing jetty, so wheelchair and rollator users can also get right down to the water's edge. Beach wheelchairs are among the aids you can rent from us. In the beautiful nature surrounding the holiday village, there are also hiking trails that can be used by everyone.

Nature experiences with particularly good accessibility

Close to Dronningens Ferieby, there are lots of beautiful natural areas that are also accessible to wheelchairs. These include Naturcenter Norddjurs, Engsøen in Grenaa, fishing platforms at Grenaa Å and the Kulsøvej nature playground.

Activities and play

Children of all ages can enjoy the many outdoor play options, such as a large playground and bouncy castle, and mooncars, bicycles and other vehicles can be hired. During the school holidays, we offer a special activity programme. The beautiful beach is a particular attraction, where time flies by.

Adults can also work up a sweat. We have three outdoor fitness pavilions, which are covered and accessible around the clock.

Sights and attractions nearby

A stay at Dronningens Ferieby can quickly become too short, as there is so much to experience in beautiful Djursland. In Grenaa, you will find the Kattegat Centre, which provides an impressive insight into life in the sea. Djursland also has the largest concentration of animal experiences: Ree Park Safari, Scandinavian Wildlife Park, Munkholm Zoo and Randers Rainforest. In addition, Djurs Sommerland and the frigate Jylland in Ebeltoft are also among the area's most popular experiences.

The ice age landscape of Djursland is a huge experience in itself. So are the area's charming towns.
