This lovingly furnished holiday apartment is located on the ground floor of a historic watermill dating back to 1844 and welcomes our guests with its tasteful and comfortable furnishings in a cozy country style. In the 4,500 square meter natural garden, you'll find the long-awaited respite and relaxation from everyday life. Bordering the "Wassermühlenholz" forest, the property boasts a particularly idyllic location: unspoiled nature with expansive fields, a mill stream, and a large garden pond await you on the edge of the charming town of Kappeln on the Schlei fjord. Enjoy cozy evenings with a nice glass of wine in front of the crackling wood-burning stove or make yourself comfortable in the reading chair and browse the small book collection. Wellness enthusiasts will appreciate the apartment's lovely sauna. The apartment is not only quiet but also centrally located. The town center of Kappeln, with its many small shops, boutiques, and various restaurants, is just a few minutes' walk away. The property boasts a 4,500 sq m (4,000 sq ft) secluded garden with a pond and several seating areas. On balmy summer evenings, you can enjoy barbecues here, and during the day, the garden furniture provides the perfect spot for sunbathing. Should the weather not cooperate, the "Little Watermill" offers plenty of entertainment options, including a flat-screen TV with DVD player, a hi-fi system, free Wi-Fi, and a small collection of CDs and DVDs. The "Little Watermill" gained fame through the television series "The Country Doctor," as the house served as the filming location for the home of police officer Sven Olsen (actor Thorsten Nindel) in "Deekelsen." Please note: Due to the ceiling construction in this historic building, some footstep noise may be heard from the upper apartment. The garden is shared and not fully fenced – therefore, we recommend that pet owners bring a long leash. The garden pond is also unfenced and open to the public. Parents are responsible for their children.
