The area
Middelfart is one of the most beautiful small towns on Funen with an idyllic and historical town center and a very nice and modern harbor front with cafés, restaurants and a small marina. There is also a walking street with exciting shops. The nature around Middelfart is very beautiful. Here you can walk from the harbor front to a large forest area where you can watch deer. The area is very hilly with beautiful woods, cliffs and nice beaches. There are also excellent opportunities for fishing. Odense, the largest town on Funen, is only 30 minutes away by car from Middelfart. Also many of the attraction in Central Jutland are not far away, e.g. LEGOLAND®, Givskud Løvepark, Randers Regnskov and many more.
