90 m2 beautiful cottage only 100 m from the fjord with a bathing jetty and very close to Ejerslev Harbour. There are 3 rooms in the house, each with 1 double bed. Lovely combined kitchen - living room with a view of the fjord. The house was renovated in 2024, and appears nice and bright. Just around the corner is Ejerslev Harbour with a lagoon, where the mole slopes rise high and where it is allowed to seek your fortune as a fossil hunter. It is also in Nordmors that you will find the Fossil and Mole Museum, which tells 55 million years of history through the many finds made in the mole at Mors. In the area is also the agricultural museum Skarregaard, where time stood still in 1958. There is also a beautiful nature playground here. The highest point on Mors is Salgjerhøj 89 m. Salgjerhøj is located in a narrow and impressive hill, from which you have a 360-degree view of the entire island and where you can count many of the island's 34 churches. Hanklit is probably the most famous mole slope at 61 m. Don't miss a trip to the top, where you will be rewarded with a fantastic view of the island and beyond Thisted Bredning.
Nykøbing is the island's capital and here you will find Dueholm Kloster, the local history museum, which tells the history of the Morsing residents and where there are special exhibitions. This is also where you will find the Danish Foundry Museum, which exhibits the old Morsø wood-burning stoves and cookers. The lovely pedestrian street connects the city with the harbor and there is life here all summer. During the season you can experience the sun setting every evening at 9 pm by the marina. It is also in the city that Morsø Golf Club has their lovely 18-hole golf course.
