Holiday apartment with direct waterfront access and a 180-degree sea view, located on the first floor
With direct access to the water and a sweeping 180-degree view, this cosy and newly renovated holiday apartment awaits you on the first floor. The bright and inviting living room offers access to a spacious terrace. From here, you can enjoy beautiful views across Mols and watch the evening sun set over the landscape.
Connected to the living room is the well-equipped kitchen, which includes a dishwasher. The home offers five sleeping spaces: one bedroom with a double bed, an alcove in the living room, and a sofa bed. As an alternative, the loft can also be used as a sleeping area, accessed by a sturdy ladder. The bathroom is pleasant and features a shower. The house has internet, and dogs are welcome.
Outdoors, you will find a small lawn as well as a lovely paved terrace with garden furniture and a grill. The garden/outdoor area is freely available for use.
Knebel is a small town on Djursland, located on the western side of the Mols peninsula at Knebel Vig. The southern part of the town along the coast is known as Knebel Bro. In this area you will also find Knebel Church, a Romanesque building dating from around 1175, situated on a hilltop overlooking the bay. Its very small tower resembles a ridge turret rather than a traditional tower. The nave and altar area were decorated in the late 1990s by the artist Bjørn Nørgaard.
About 1 kilometre east of the town, along Porskærvej, lies Porskær Stone House – one of Denmark’s largest round dolmens. It is believed to date from the late Stone Age around 3000 BC and has a diameter of 20 metres. The dolmen is set in the dramatic landscape of the Mols Bjerge, where heath and moraine hills rise just a few hundred metres to the east.
From Knebel, it is just under 12 kilometres to Rønde, 16 to Sletterhage on Helgenæs, and nearly 17 to Ebeltoft.
