Beautifully renovated holiday home with a view of the fjord in the idyllic and peaceful area of Strandlysthuse in Munkebo near Kerteminde.

The holiday home was renovated in 2025 and decorated in the loveliest summerhouse style with a separate, new kitchen equipped with a dishwasher, a delightful living room with a wood stove, an energy-efficient heat pump, and a dining area where you can enjoy views of the fjord.

The holiday home features 3 bedrooms: one with a double bed (120 cm), a small room with 2 bunk beds, and an annex with a double bed (140 cm). There’s a well-maintained bathroom with a shower and washing machine. From the living room, there’s access to a lovely, covered terrace and a pergola where you can fully enjoy outdoor living. The property is fully fenced. There is parking available by the fjord approximately 50 meters from the house.

The charming holiday home area Strandlysthuse is located in Munkebo by the Kerteminde Fjord. Here, you can take a dip in the fjord or go paddleboarding and canoeing, as the water is almost always calm. Munkebo also offers a square with shopping options, delicious food at Munkebo Kro, and a swimming center for fun family days.

The location is ideal, being only 15 km from Odense and 7 km from the charming holiday town of Kerteminde. Kerteminde boasts wonderful beaches, a cozy harbor, and a shopping street filled with specialty shops and restaurants.

Bring the whole family to Fjord&Bælt, an exciting research center with porpoises, seals, and a fascinating underwater tunnel. Also, visit the Johannes Larsen Museum for an artistic experience, and enjoy a game of mini-golf with Kerteminde's best view. During the summer months, you can participate in Viking activities at the nearby Viking Museum Ladby, which is a fantastic way to learn about the past.
