Hirtshals Lighthouse was built in 1863 during the reign of King Frederik VII, whose monogram still adorns the tower above the entrance. Since then, the light has safely guided sailors past the dramatic dunes and cliffs along the coast. Today, the lighthouse stands as a proud symbol of Hirtshals – a beacon of strength, history, and North Jutland charm.
