The heart of the house is the bright and comfortably furnished living room, which combines with the dining area and open-plan kitchen. The high, wood-panelled ceilings extend to the ridge, and large windows flood the holiday home with natural light.

A cosy double sleeping area connects to the living room, perfect for afternoon naps or as a snug retreat for children.

There are also two bedrooms, each with a double bed, and an extension with two single beds. The bathroom features underfloor heating and a sauna. If the warming glow of the fireplace isn't enough in the evening, you can retreat to the sauna to relax your muscles and soak up the heat.

The outdoor area is genuinely spacious, ensuring you'll always find a sheltered spot. The beautiful terraces are perfect for sunbathing, with sun loungers and a barbecue available for wonderful holiday days in the fresh air.

Families with children or teenagers will love the grounds at Gl. Strandvej 14. There's plenty of space for cricket or traditional Viking games.

Henneby is an excellent base for planning various activities. Numerous opportunities await - the challenge will be fitting them all into your week. You have fantastic access to the Blåbjerg Plantation, which offers wonderful walking and cycling routes.

Fancy horse riding? No problem! Just a few minutes from your holiday address on Gl. Strandvej 14, there's a riding stable where you can book guided tours and admire the surroundings on horseback.

Nearby lies one of Denmark's largest lakes - the Filsø. This restored natural area has become home to numerous waterfowl and otters. Even the king of the skies, the white-tailed eagle, has settled here and makes impressive appearances.

If you'd like to play golf, the golf course is right in Henneby. In the evenings, you can take the 1.5-mile (2.5km) trip to Henne Strand to enjoy the restaurants. During the day, Henne Strand is also a popular destination for shopping, enjoying ice cream, or swimming at the beach.
