As soon as you arrive at this rustic and personally decorated small house with a grass roof, you can immediately relax and embrace the holiday feeling. The charming holiday home at Nordslugen 18 blends almost seamlessly into the beautiful West Jutland heath landscape near Blåvandshuk Lighthouse and accommodates up to five guests. Your four-legged friend is also welcome—up to two dogs are allowed for wonderful walks and outdoor experiences.

Cozy atmosphere and relaxation on the heath

In the open kitchen, you can prepare delicious meals while still staying connected with activities around the dining table and living room. The induction cooktop makes cooking quick and easy, and the refrigerator includes a small integrated freezer compartment for storing essentials. If you need more supplies, the shops in Blåvand are only about 2.5 kilometres away.

After dinner, the dishwasher takes care of the cleaning, so you can continue enjoying time together on the large sofa by the wood-burning stove—watching a movie, enjoying a treat, or sharing stories about upcoming holiday plans. The combined kitchen, dining, and living area spans the full length of the house, offering beautiful views of the surrounding landscape from almost every angle—and a true panoramic view at the far end of the room.

If you return cold from an excursion, you can warm up in the house’s sauna. When it’s time to rest, you can retreat to one of the three bedrooms, which offer a double bed, a sofa bed for two people, and a bunk bed with two sleeping spaces plus a single bed.

In the bathroom, you can enjoy a refreshing shower to start the day, or—during the warmer months—use the outdoor shower, available from April 1 to October 31. The bathroom also features underfloor heating, so you won’t have cold feet at any time of year. A heat pump ensures a comfortable indoor climate throughout the seasons.

For local attractions, Blåvand Zoo, the Tirpitz bunker museum, and the nearby Blåvandshuk Lighthouse are always worth a visit—climb the 170 steps and enjoy the most beautiful view over the blue, blue sea from the historic lighthouse.
