This charming 1960s holiday home exudes character and sits within nearly 2 acres (8,000 m²) of private woodland, where you can recharge your batteries in the peaceful natural surroundings of the Danish west coast. The 80-square-metre holiday home was extensively renovated in 2024 and promises a cosy Danish 'hygge' holiday for five people and up to two dogs.

The charm of the 1960s combined with modern Scandinavian comfort creates the perfect setting for your next family holiday. The typical open-plan living area invites shared moments together. The open-plan kitchen is perfect for social cooking, equipped with everything you need for your stay including a dishwasher, microwave, oven and induction hob.

For cosy evenings, light up the wood-burning stove and settle into the comfortable sofas. Enjoy views over the pine woodland, immerse yourself in a good book, or gather for a family film night.

Peaceful sleep awaits in the three bedrooms: two with comfortable double beds and one with a single bed. The compact but well-designed bathroom features underfloor heating and a shower enclosure. For heating, we recommend using the energy-efficient heat pump. A washing machine is also available.

BBQ on the terrace - walks in Kallesmærsk Heath

Nature lovers seeking tranquillity will feel right at home here. The partially covered terrace is perfect for soaking up the sunshine and enjoying summer BBQs together. A small pathway leads up the dune, offering stunning views over the Blåvand holiday region and Kallesmærsk Heath. The holiday home's location is ideal for extensive walks with your dogs, with a hiking trail leading directly from the holiday home into the vast Kallesmærsk Heath nature reserve.

Blåvand holiday destination

The bustling town centre, with its attractive shops, welcoming cafés and restaurants, is just a 10-minute walk (1,000 metres) from the holiday home. It's well worth taking a stroll through town, perhaps enjoying a traditional Danish hot dog or delicious soft-serve ice cream. In the surrounding area, don't miss a visit to Blåvandshuk Lighthouse, standing at Denmark's westernmost point. From here, you can take beautiful beach walks and search for shells, amber and beach treasures.
