Although there is a sign prohibiting traffic, you can drive along the road as there is a campsite and a recommended restaurant on the beach, which is frequented by many visitors. The village of Vöhl is only 1 km away and offers shopping facilities, especially for local produce. Numerous hiking trails can be explored from the front door.
