The house is in an idyllic and quiet location, making it ideal for hikers, short breaks and nature lovers. Nevertheless, it is easily accessible by car. The A4 motorway is only 5 minutes away, Eisenach can be reached in 15 minutes. It is situated on the edge of the forest in the middle of the mountains of the Werra-Meißner district. Pure nature! At night it is usually pleasantly cool and often starry, so you can see the Milky Way with the naked eye. It's a dream to wake up in nature. You can switch off from stressful everyday life and find yourself.
The house is located directly on a slope. An outdoor area framed with natural stone offers a great terrace with barbecue facilities and a fireplace. Here you can enjoy the evening sun and beautiful sunsets. Thanks to the cosy lighting and fire bowl, you can also spend a long time on the terrace at night.
The rustic house is cosily furnished with great attention to detail. The furnishings combine antique objects with modern smart home technology.
The stable Wi-Fi (50 - 100 MBit/s) reaches into every corner and can also be used outside; ideal for all co-workers...
There is an 11kW charging station for electric cars (35 ct./kWh)
Holzhausen is a paradise for nature lovers. It is surrounded by the beautiful forests of the Werra-Meißner district. Hikes, e.g. to Brandenfels Castle, are possible directly from the house. The Rennsteig trail is also not far away.
Great tours can also be undertaken by mountain bike or motorbike.
The beautiful town of Eisenach is only 20 minutes away by car.
It is possible to hire e-scooters to explore the surrounding area (up to approx. 30km range). There are very beautiful paths and places along the Werra. We are happy to provide tour suggestions.
The house is a small half-timbered house dating back to 1850 and much of the interior is still original, such as the doors and some of the floors. There is a lot of wood to see and feel.
