Idyllically situated on the Kapitäns-Halbinsel of the Ostsee Resort Olpenitz, in the Kapitänsstraße, our 3-room "Fewo Kapitän James Cook Olpenitz" offers by far the most beautiful view and the best location of all the "star houses" here, a starting point for a relaxing holiday on 77m² on the first floor. From the bedrooms you have a direct view of the water.

You enter the Captain James Cook Olpenitz holiday flat via an external staircase to the covered first balcony (10m²), which allows you to stay out in the fresh air even when it rains. The entrance area leads past a beautiful bathroom, which makes wellness hearts beat faster, as it has a floor-level XXL shower and a sauna (infrared cabin) with coloured light therapy. On the other side are two well-designed bedrooms with space for four adults and a marvellous view of the water. The master bedroom has a waterbed with a medium mattress (1.80 x 2.20), while a box-spring bed (1.80 x 2.00) awaits you in the second bedroom with an additional flat-screen TV. A fifth person is possible on request, the sleeping accommodation would be on the large sofa which has a bed function. However, the focus is on the perfectly realised, light-flooded living and dining area with a wood-burning stove and floor-to-ceiling windows that connect the living area with nature. The integration of the open-plan kitchen with its excellent equipment and functional design means that nothing stands in the way of cosy get-togethers, even when preparing all kinds of delicacies. The round wood-burning stove between the living room and dining area lends the room a special atmosphere. The holiday apartment Kapitän James Cook Olpenitz is allergy-friendly and furnished according to strict criteria. Smoking and pets are strictly prohibited. Please enquire directly about cleaning requirements such as special cleaning agents. If you have any questions or problems on site, please do not hesitate to contact us. Our guest service is also on site, who will be happy to help you and, unlike some other providers, will go to the flat with you and show you around. A travel cot and high chair are available for our younger guests. You can bring your own bed linen/towels or rent them from our agency Seeblick Ferien ORO in the form of linen packages for a fee. The beds would then be made upon arrival. Heating costs are included in the rental price, but due to our own electric charging station for e-cars, SAUNA and wellness shower, the electricity and water costs will be charged afterwards according to actual consumption and deducted from the deposit.

Kappeln is also known as "Deekelsen" from the popular TV series "Der Landarzt". A trip to Bad Arnis, Germany's smallest town, or to Eckernförde for the eel regatta or the pirate spectacle in August or to Sieseby, the beautiful half-timbered village directly on the Schlei and then indulge in the gourmet cuisine in the "Schlei-Krog". Or, or, or, or. There is hardly a second location like this on the entire Baltic Sea coast in Germany! Those who love a quiet holiday close to nature will certainly be able to spend "their best time of the year" here, even if the surroundings and infrastructure in the Baltic Sea resort of Olpenitz are currently still subject to constant change with construction activity.
