For all those who appreciate the tranquillity and beauty of nature, our charming and spacious holiday flat "Kellerwald", in the idyllic holiday village of Frankenau, offers the ideal retreat. Situated in the picturesque Kellerwald/Edertalsperre Nature Park and surrounded by the Waldecker Bergland, our holiday flat promises an unforgettable stay. With direct access to the endless, well-signposted hiking trails of the Kellerwald forest just 30 metres away, our accommodation is the perfect destination for nature lovers and dog lovers. Nestled at the end of a very quiet cul-de-sac, it also offers breathtaking views of the valley and the village of Frankenau, while the winter sports resorts of Winterberg and Willingen are within easy reach.

Our Kellerwald holiday flat is the lower of a total of two holiday flats in a half-timbered house. The charming holiday flat is located on the ground floor and impresses with its open-plan living concept, high-quality furnishings and numerous extras. Renovated in 2021 and constantly modernised, this bright flat offers a large terrace with parasol and garden furniture, a modern Haas & Sohn pellet stove and the latest, digitally controllable Thermotec radiators. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the flat, and we offer a free parking space for your vehicle on our property.

Outside, you will find an idyllic lawn and patio area enclosed by a 1.20 metre high picket fence for your exclusive use, which is accessible both via the patio door of the living area and via a garden gate. Equipped with garden furniture and a parasol, the garden area also offers various play equipment for children, which can be used under parental supervision. Up to three well-behaved, house-trained dogs are welcome to explore nature together.

The location of our house in the holiday village of Frankenau promises direct access to the natural paradise of the Kellerwald-Edertag National Park. Just 1.5 km from the village of Frankenau, you will find all the necessary facilities such as a bakery, bank, petrol station with fast-charging facilities, grocery shop, pharmacy and several restaurants. The proximity to the winter sports resorts of Willingen and Winterberg, the historic old towns of Korbach and Bad Wildungen and Lake Edersee with its dam and zoo make our holiday flat the perfect starting point for various leisure activities.
