Holiday home on the hill above Lake Trasimeno - border Umbria/Tuscany The natural stone house is situated on a hill, surrounded by olive groves, between green hills, with a panoramic view of the lake, on the edge of the Trasimeno Nature Park The house is situated on the hill (the little road up is asphalted), where there are a total of five houses. You have sole use of my house. Tuoro is 2.5 km away, has good grocery shops, two supermarkets, a nice piazza with three bars, a wonderful butcher and excellent fishmongers. In Tuoro or around the lake you will find wonderful restaurants. Lots of tips to help you find your way around quickly are available in the house. Well connected: Ideal for excursions to many marvellous places in Umbria and southern Tuscany: from Assisi to Perugia, Cortona, Siena, Arezzo or Orvieto and many more wonderful places - because they are only about 4 km from the motorway. Quiet location: Ideal for relaxing in the fenced garden on the lawn, under the pergola, surrounded by robins, squirrels and on some evenings fireflies. All windows and doors have mosquito screens The two-storey house has three bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen-cum-living room, a large bathroom downstairs next to the entrance with shower, bidet, toilet and washing machine. A second small WC upstairs next to the bedrooms. The well-equipped kitchen has a four-ring hob, large fridge with freezer compartment. The entrance and bathroom are downstairs, the other rooms are upstairs. Due to the stairs, the house is not suitable for the disabled. You must also be careful with small children because of the stairs. Pets are allowed. If it is not too hot, the walk into the village is fun. In summer, the people of Tuoro organise wonderful dinners in the piazza, in July Umbria Jazz in Perugia offers great concerts, in August Trasimeno Blues is on the programme. On Lake Trasimeno you can also hire pedal boats or canoes and go to the islands (also by ferry). If you like to eat well, there are many good restaurants in the neighbourhood, bed linen, towels, electricity, hot water, gas, wood for the barbecue and fireplace, WLAN are included in the price. If you would like fresh linen during your stay, we can organise this for you. Heating costs for the central heating are only charged when used and are to be paid on site. The outdoor area of the house is under video surveillance. When tenants are in the house, the video camera on the lower facade, where you enter the house and park, remains on for your safety and the protection of your property. Privacy in the garden is guaranteed.

The entrance and the large bathroom are on the ground floor. On the upper floor is the well-equipped eat-in kitchen with wood-burning stove and fireplace, living room with satellite TV, the three bedrooms - two with double bed, one with two single beds and the small toilet. The living room and one bedroom have air conditioning.

The garden is fully fenced, has a brick-built stone barbecue, a pergola with stunning views and a sunbathing area.

I have preserved the old ambience as much as I could, but have nevertheless taken care to provide the necessary luxury: comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, satellite TV, WLAN and, above all, mosquito nets on all windows and doors.

Tuoro is a small, cosy place. Because the house is four kilometres from the motorway, it is ideal for many excursion destinations in Umbria and southern Tuscany, smaller towns and world-famous small cities, Rome and Florence can be reached by train in two and one hour respectively.
