There is a local bus to Karpathos town 5 times/week and we therefore recommend that you rent a car and take a trip in the hilly landscape where beautiful views await around every bend. In Lefkos, no excursions are arranged from Apollo or anyone else. So the situation of discovering the place and the island yourself according to your own wishes has all the conditions to be successful.
