Summer idyll with spa, sauna and lovely nature

A lovely bright and welcoming holiday home located on a large natural plot. Thanks to its position on the property, you will always be able to find both sun and shade around the house, including on the two large, partially covered terraces. The house is cozily furnished and features three comfortable bedrooms as well as two bathrooms – one with a whirlpool and access to a sauna. On cooler evenings, you can light the wood-burning stove and enjoy time together with a card or board game. At the nearby campsite, you can purchase fishing permits for the area's many streams and lakes. You can also rent bicycles and canoes here, and children can safely walk down to buy an ice cream at the small kiosk. In the village of Hovborg, within walking distance, you will find a grocery store, a put-and-take fishing lake, and a charming inn with an excellent menu. The inn also offers takeaway meals at very reasonable prices. The scenic hiking route, the Coast to Coast Trail (Kyst to Kyst stien), runs directly through the area. Within less than half an hour by car, you can reach Legoland in Billund, the Givskud Zoo (Lion Park), the go-kart track in Hejnsvig, speedway and golf in Holsted, or visit Denmark’s oldest town, Ribe. Esbjerg shopping center, the saltwater aquarium, and the North Sea can all be reached within 45 minutes. In the same time, you can drive to Fredericia and visit Denmark’s largest historical miniature town and the country’s largest free playground, Madsby Park. Flensburg and Odense are about 1 hour and 15 minutes away. In Odense, you will find a zoo as well as many interesting museums.
