Welcome to the holiday home

Here you can enjoy a peaceful holiday surrounded by beautiful countryside and true rural charm. The holiday home is completely secluded with no neighbours and offers stunning views over open fields – perfect for those seeking peace, nature, and relaxation.

The house is furnished in a rustic style with a cosy country kitchen open to the living room. On the ground floor you will also find one bedroom with direct access to a bathroom (without toilet) as well as a second bathroom.

On the first floor, you will find a large, bright and open sleeping area with a vaulted ceiling, creating a wonderful sense of space. There are two single beds that can easily be combined into a double bed. Please note that the staircase to the first floor is steep.

From the kitchen there is direct access to a lovely terrace and garden. The entire property is fully fenced, allowing your dog to roam freely.

The holiday home offers streaming via Apple TV (no traditional TV channels) as well as a Clever charging station for electric cars. Charging can be carried out using either your own Clever chip or a chip from one of Clever’s partners. On cooler days, the cosy fireplace creates a warm and inviting atmosphere, while an energy-efficient heat pump ensures a comfortable indoor climate all year round.

Located between the idyllic villages of Salby and Viby on Hindsholm, this is the perfect base for exploring the area. Shopping can be found in Mesinge just 2 km away, where you can also enjoy lunch in the apple garden or a cosy dinner at Café Kirkeladen. The charming coastal town of Kerteminde is only 5 km from the house.

Hindsholm is one of the most peaceful and scenic areas on Funen – a peninsula surrounded by sea, open landscapes, and small idyllic villages.

The area offers a unique mix of coastal nature, farmland, and cultural history. Small country roads connect villages such as Mesinge and Viby, where half-timbered houses, village ponds, and churches create an authentic Danish atmosphere.

At the very tip of the peninsula lies Fynshoved, one of Funen’s most spectacular natural areas, where the seas meet and dramatic coastal landscapes unfold.

Hindsholm is also well known for sea fishing, especially for sea trout, attracting anglers from Denmark and abroad.

The nearest larger town is Kerteminde, offering shops, cafés, restaurants, attractions, and some of the most beautiful sandy beaches on Funen.
