The beach can be easily reached by bicycle, just as the very popular Gendarmsti trail runs close by the property. The island's absolute best bathing beach, Kerneland, is approximately 6 km from the holiday apartment. The former garage has been converted into a cozy room with tables and chairs where you can smoke in dry weather. There is also a large stainless table with a sink that can be used as an indoor fish cleaning area. You can buy groceries in Skovby if you don't want to take a trip to Høruphav or Sønderborg, where you will find a wide selection of shops and cozy restaurants and a nice harbor environment with many places to eat and places of interest.
